Job Description:

Required Certifications: APLUS Cert, NetworkPLUS Cert, CNNA Cert, MTA or MCTS Cert. Position subject to FAR 52.222-41, Service Contract Act of 1965, as Amended Nov-07, and the most current SCA Wage Determination (WD) located at http://www.wdol.gov under SCA WD's.

1. Please note that Active Navy Reservists will be declined due to conflict of interest.

2. All RESFOR Remote Site Support Technicians MUST have the following skills:

*Final Secret or better clearance

*Advanced Active Directory Knowledge and Experience

*Advanced Knowledge and Experience with Microsoft products (specifically Windows 7 Operating Systems)

*Advanced Knowledge of a COTS ticketing system (preferably Remedy or Heat)

**Please note that all technicians will be trained on SM9 for incident reporting

*Knowledge of Common Access Card (CAC)

*Knowledge of Navy customer (prior NMCI experience is a plus, prior

Military experience is helpful)

*Knowledge of printers (network and stand-alone, multiple vendors)

*Exceptional customer support skills

*Able to lift and carry 50 lbs

*Able to work with minimal direction

*Able to quickly identify and resolve issues and follow set escalation paths when/if required

3. All applicants must be able to travel on short notice and consistently up to 90% of the month.

The standard work week is 40 hrs within a seven day period (Monday to Sunday)

8 hours a day with zero OT unless prior approved by both customer and leadership in writing.

2-4 years of experience

CompTia A+ OR Network + & any OS Certs (MTA, MCSE etc.)

Under immediate supervision, monitor the infrastructure and network, responding appropriately to alerts and events.  Respond to incidents from triage through resolution, including escalations, where appropriate.  Respond to infrastructure repairs, including directing remote activities to maintain operational effectiveness for services.  Provide root cause analysis documentation in accordance with Government procedures.  Provide data center support where appropriate.  Document daily shift activities in appropriate reporting and ticketing tools and ensure proper pass down of any outstanding issues.  Provide incident notification to Government representatives.  Work is performed in 24/7 environment and must be able to work second/third shifts, weekends, and holidays.

 2-4 years of experience required.  Possess at least two or more of the following:  Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTia) A+, Network+, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certification.  Certified in accordance with DODD 8570.1 Information Assurance Technician I, II or III, as required by the environment.

Job Description:

Install, configure, service, repair, and maintain hardware and software for network services, storage networking devices, and servers. Integrate multiple information systems in a networked environment, evaluate and resolve customer information system problems, effect required hardware upgrades and repair to maintain mission capability. Install and configure wireless hubs, routers, switches, and various transmission media, server hardware and software, and ensure the proper installation and configuration of workstation hardware and software for efficient operation on the network. Install, optimize and troubleshoot Local Area and Base Area Networks. Familiar with Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN), Virtual Private Network (VPN), and Network Address Translation (NAT). 2-4 years of experience required.
