Local to Mountain View, CA
Provides technical guidance to employees assigned to assist in the functional area. Develops command budgetary input relative to military personnel administration operations. Provides detailed budget projections based upon historical data, known priorities, special exercises and projects, mission changes which affect budget requirements in personnel feeder data provided by subordinate staffs, and inflation factors. Receives funding allotments and monitors the expenditure of funds. Determines the need for and initiates action for additional funds. Adjusts allotment between accounts. Assures the maintenance of internal accounting records. Consults with the supervisor on controversial situations and those in which priorities are unknown. Requires ability to report financials from General Fund Enterprise business System (GFEBS).
Knowledge of organization, mission, functions, and operations of the Army and Army Reserve.
Ability to analyze facts, identify problems, report findings, make conclusions, and recommend
corrective or appropriate action.
Ability to interpret and apply regulations, procedures and/or precedents to provide advice and solve
more specific problems.
Knowledge of the interrelationships of military personnel programs sufficient to properly refer
management and service members for assistance and technical problem solving.
Skill in written communications to prepare correspondence, reports and briefings.
Skill in oral communications to present briefings.
Ability to use the personal computer and software applications in support of office functions.
Knowledge of the automated systems supporting military personnel programs, and the ability
to retrieve data for studies, projects and reports.
