Configuration / Build Release Manager
LOCATION: Vancouver, WA -- will also consider Lacey, WA. Some potential occasional
travel between Vancouver and Lacey is possible (Less than 25%).

Position Details:
This role requires the candidate to coordinate the deployment of new releases
of a complex, multi-tiered system across multiple development, test, and
production environments. Develop/refine/ the Configuration Management Plan,
Release Procedures, and the software promotion process.
Skills Required: MUST HAVE ALL TO
BE CONSIDERED
• Must have knowledge and past experience with Team Foundation Server 2008
(TFS) Administration
• Must have knowledge and past experience with Labeling, Branching, and
Merging.
• Experience with Configuration and Administration of IIS, Microsoft .NET,
Visual Studio, TFS, SQL server
• Strong Analytical skills
• Delivery focused
• Good communication skills verbal and written
Optional Skills:
• Unemployment Insurance experience preferred
• Experience with Enterprise Architecture, Team Foundation Server, BizTalk,
PowerShell Scripting, and AppFabric
• Familiar with NHibernate, Workflow Foundation
Job Responsibilities:
Will manage build environment, and automate build, deployment and other
configuration management tasks. Will provide oversight and coordination of CM
functions for all applications through the build to deployment phases. Will
maintain version control, execute SCM policies, collaborate with
infrastructure/development teams, develop and maintain build/installation
processes.
Specific
duties include:
• Implement, administer and maintain configuration management tools to support
configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of software
products
• Support development team by providing CM/Release Engineering services to
build, deploy, develop scripts, oversee branch and merge strategies, and build
automated tools as necessary to offer services to application teams
• Work with development and infrastructure teams to resolve build, deployment,
and release issues and communicate status/solutions to appropriate stakeholders
• Ensure the organization’s development processes are followed by teams
developing and releasing software
• Works flexible hours to avoid impact to production systems.
Special
Requirements/Restrictions: (Travel, O.T., Shift Work, Security Clearance,
etc.):
Occasional travel between Vancouver and Lacey, WA.
May require some weekend and evening work to maintain schedule
