Job
Level Definitions:
Identification
and construction of test scenarios, generation of inbound files and generation
of expected results. The comparison of expected results will be using SQL. The
organization of test cases and its associated will be through VSTS –TFS. Tester
should have ability to apply intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to
solve a variety of common business issues. Exercises independent judgment
within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Acts
as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited
project direction input. Participates as a member of a Testing Team. Designs
testing scenarios and test cases that will demonstrate conformance to all
functional and non-functional requirements, relative to the test level, as
defined in business or technical specifications. Executes tasks related to test
cases and test data. Analyzes the results of the testing process and recommends
solutions. Interacts with the project team to gain an understanding of the
business environment, technical context, and conformance criteria.
Required Qualifications: Must Have All Of These Skills To Be Considered
•
Experience of at least 2-3 years in testing including test case creation,
execution and validation of results
•
At least 2 plus years of hands on experience in writing SQL Queries
•
Ability to write complex SQL scripts for repeatability
•
Exposure to batch processing
•
Experience in testing stored procedures and databases
•
Excellent verbal communications and teaming skills
•
Experience in data analysis and Database Testing

Responsibilities:
•
Understand business requirements and develop test cases
•
Build, customize and configure SQL Queries for execution and verification of
results for various Data Archive test efforts.
•
Execute and test the data related functional scenarios for a test effort.
•
Work with build teams to run jobs within the Test environment
•
Work with development, Business, and QA teams to determine Data testing
approach and maintenance
