Job Statement
The SAP ABAP Developer II supports the SAP-ISU applications such as Billing, Invoicing, Printing, Device Management, FICA and other Applications. Duties include providing technical expertise for design,  development, testing, implementation and production support. This individual works with functional analysts and translates business requirements into technical coding and configuration solutions.

Essential Duties
Develop and adapt technical solutions/options into detailed technical design documents, ensuring all functional requirements are met in the technical design.

·         Supports SAP modules by implementing, solving break/fix issues, and by providing design and development of RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms and Workflows)
·         Manages the construction of code based on a technical design, following all development standards.
·         Works with project teams and technical resources by continually demonstrating solid understanding of the functionality and test data that will be required to Build test scenarios.
·         Ensures all code is well documented and can be navigated by others in the next phase (testing)
·         Estimates, plans, and tracks SAP RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancement, Forms and Workflows) work effort.
·         Requirements Analysis: Assists in conducting workshops with business clients to obtain project requirements to ensure timely development of quality, accurate functional and technical specifications.
·         Design: Analyzes and interprets functional specifications or business requirements to support the development of technical specifications.
·         Construction: Develops SAP solutions that adhere to Huntsville Utilities development standards anticipating, identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving development issues.
·         Implementation: Provides clear documentation and production support of implemented functionality.
·         Production Support - Investigates debugs and resolves production problems reported with supported applications

Job Requirements

Education/Training/Certifications: B.S. in Computer Information Systems or related field is required.
Experience/Skills
3 years or more of progressively relevant work experience as an application developer, or systems analyst. Hands on experience preferred in Java, Java Script, HTML, PHP, Visual Basic, Autoit, PC applications, ADS, ABAP, SAP Portal MSS/ESS, SAP Workflow, WebDynpro, BADI, User Exits, Enhancement Points, XML file development, NetWeaver, SAP BW/BI, SAP ECC6, SAP IS-U/CCS, SAP UCES,SAP BCM, SAP PI/XI, HPQC, uPerform, On Base, Cobol and VSAM.

Equipment
Telephone, and computer hardware and software.
Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions
Normal sedentary office environment with repetitive work at computer keyboard.
Other
On-call availability; work in a team environment; and facilitate a cooperative and collaborative work environment within MIS and other departments. The ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, and to translate technical terminology to terms understandable to non-technical employees.
