Job Description:
The contractor’s Data Analyst/Data Modeler shall demonstrate the following:
Ability to analyze, capture and model data requirements, data definitions, business rules, data quality requirements for conceptual, logical and physical data models; ability to apply data model version and change control methods;
Ability to develop, maintain and leverage the enterprise data model; Ability to integrate, control and deliver meta-data; Ability to administer meta-data repositories;
Possess a solid understanding of transaction and IMS, knowledge of application modeling languages/techniques (e.g., UML, entity relationship modeling, DFDs) including the ability to create and read the associated diagrams;
Good communication skills, strong teamwork, and engagement as a project team member;
Experience in establishing and conducting joint technical and management reviews and scheduling joint technical reviews to coincide with key task milestones and with periodic reporting plans;
Experience in using data analysis/business analysis skills;
1.5.4.4.3.9. Experience in data modeling using modeling tools (e.g., ERStudio a plus);
Experience relating to the implications of specific modeling/implementation techniques on an Oracle platform;
