Senior Engineer that has a high level of skill to assist in
troubleshoot and system remediation activities to support the current CTO initiatives.
Individual must have a background in complex systems support and design on
Microsoft platforms (High Availability, Networking, Clustering, Web /
Middleware, Database), knowledge of Exchange environments, VMware, AD / LDAP,
Security, Server administration/management. Ability to be self-managed, show
good judgement and drive initiatives to fix issues and provide longer term
remediation plans and recommendations
Wintel are required to align team members to business projects
and provide SME expertise for solution design, technical leadership and project
lifecycle support. There are currently 36+ projects in-flight that require
Wintel engagement of varying complexity, we need a technical lead to provide
the right level of leadership and work with the wider teams to align the right
level of skill/resources/solution to deliver the project. We would also expect
the individual to have hands on skills if required.
Requirements:
- 10 years industry experience
- 5 to 10 years of Network/Server administration
- Microsoft certification (MCSE level) expertise in core
Microsoft products
- Expert level knowledge of Active Director (GPOs, Logon
scripts, OUs, Delegation, WIN/DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Knowledge and experience in large environments with
VMware, MsSQL, and 3rd Party AD Security tools
- Knowledge and experience with High Availability,
Networking, Clustering, Web, Middleware, Database, Exchange, VMware, and
Security technologies
- PowerShell/Scripting experience
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices
