Job Description:
Provides functional knowledge and perspective to the
enterprise-wide IT solution team including hands on functional configuration
support as well as implementation methodology knowledge.
Provides functional knowledge for business process
reengineering and implementation of best IT and business practices.
Supports functional lead for requirements definition and
supports fit/gap analyses of SAP software.
Specific Duties:
Utilize technical area expertise to assess, select, manage
and implement enterprise application components, and to ensure that the
technical solution satisfies the business problem as an organic part of the
organization’s operational and functional baseline.
Generate functional area strategies for enhanced IT
operations in a cross-functional area mode throughout the organization.
Work with product specialists to brief senior managers and
end users on applications integration/functionality within the enterprise.
Determine those technology inadequacies and/or deficiencies
that affect the functional area’s ability to support/meet organizational goals.
Support technical strategies that will improve productivity
across functional areas within the organization.
