Profile/Role Description:
• After successful
transition into the datacenter, supervising, managing the daily activities of
configuration, maintenance, patching, updating and troubleshooting the
operational systems.
• Optimizing systems
and resource utilization, while continuing to provide system capacity analysis and
planning
• Designs and
administers programs to include policies, standards, guidelines, training
programs, and a viable quality assurance process for disaster recovery.
• Use of Altiris for
provisioning Windows Operating systems
• Oversees and reviews
the testing and implementation of software, data systems, and data networks to
ensure that the integrity and security of all electronic data and data systems
are adequately protected.
• Assists in the
coordination and establishment of disaster recovery programs and business
resumption planning across mainframe and client server platforms.
• Coordinates and
monitors simulation testing across all platforms.
• Plan and execute the
installation and configuration of Windows Systems into the Client's Datacenter, configure, optimize, monitor,
operate and maintain systems.
• Plan and execute
patches, and troubleshooting problems
• Some overtime
(including nights, weekends, holidays)
• Pager duty required
to support on-call escalation procedures
Minimum skills and qualifications:
Please indicate the skills and

minimum 1 year of hands-on Java programming; good communication (written and
oral) and interpersonal skills).
System Admin II
• Associate’s degree and 5 years work
experience; or 7 years related experience • Must have an active
TS/SCI clearance
• Must be a US Citizen
• ALL positions require Sec+ certification
within 90 days of start to be 8570 compliant.
