Description:
A
User Acceptance Tester utilizes skills and performs tasks, including but not
limited to:
Gathers
and analyzes data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and system
requirements, which includes writing test plans and scripts for tracking defects
and fixes in product development, software application development, information
systems, and operations systems.
Applies
proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate IT processes
through careful testing. Ensures the testing activities allow
applications to meet business requirements and system goals, fulfill end-user
requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.
Collaborates
with software/system personnel in application testing, such as system, unit
regression load and acceptance testing methods; creates and executes test plans
and scripts that will determine optimal application performance according to
specifications; communicates test progress, test results, and other relevant
information to project stakeholders and management.
MANDATORY
REQUIREMENTS:
Requires
a Bachelor’s Degree with course work in computer science or directly related
technical fields. Please provide the relevant information below that

Three
years of professional experience in quality assurance software testing within
the last five years. Please provide name of company or companies,

Extensive
knowledge of Testing methodologies, including: white box/black box/interfaces,
functional/non-functional, full coverage/risk-based, and
manual/automated. Please provide all job title(s) for work performed

PREFERRED
REQUIREMENTS:
Extensive
knowledge of all phases of testing lifecycle, including: scoping, planning,
prioritization, test scripting, test data, expected results, test execution and
defect resolution. Please provide the job title from UAT2 in which the
candidate utilized this skill.
Working
knowledge of DB2 ad hoc query programs and languages, DB2 v.10, DB2 v. 8,
automated testing tools (QTP, JMeter, Hudson, Selenium), and reporting

utilized this skill.
Working
knowledge of importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs,
and flow charts, of statistical analysis and techniques, including data
verification, analysis, and problem-solving. Please provide the job title

Previous
experience with IDES/Agency Systems, methodologies. Please provide the
