ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
·
Plan,
coordinate, and supervise all activities related to design, development and
implementation of information systems and software applications
·
Research
and make recommendations on software products and services in support of procurement
and development efforts
·
Develop
project resources strategies, allocating staff, tools and specialized support
necessary for cost-effective implementation and customer training
·
Provide
direction to project leaders and integrate activities with other IT departments
to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts
·
Ensure
final products meet negotiated customer expectations
·
Anticipate
and identify issues inhibiting the attainment of project goals and develop and
implement corrective actions
·
Select
and develop the Information Technology staff and facilitate the creation of an
effective and productive team environment
·
Communicate
with management, and business partners explaining plans, status and assignments
·
Foster
and maintain good relationships with business partners to ensure processes are
integrated to support strong customer service levels
·
Employees
in this position perform at a middle management level, both leading a technical
team and performing in a highly skilled individual contributor capacity
relative to project management and analysis
·
Contribute
to the development of annual business solutions system plans
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
·
Minimum
of 8 years’ experience in system and application development
·
Minimum
of 8 years’ project management experience, demonstrating leadership skills and
possessing a track record of managing staff through various life-cycle phases
·
Experience
managing several simultaneous application development projects
·
In-depth
experience and knowledge of information technologies and methodologies in
web-based computing environments
·
Demonstrated
experience developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex
business problems
·
Experience
writing performance reviews and creating training/development plans for
staff
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
·
BS/BA
in MIS, Computer Science, Business or Mathematics

skills that can energize multi-disciplined work teams to respond to business
needs
·
Strong
analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough
understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them
into application and operational requirements

Strong
and proven project management skills with experience in organizing, planning
and executing large-scale projects from the envisioning stage through to
implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors and vendors
·
Excellent
verbal and written communication skills with an ability to interact
professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter
experts
·
Strong
teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and persuade at all
management levels
·
Experience
with Oracle Web Center Portal, Oracle Web Center Spaces, and Oracle Web Center
Content

Business
Process management skills is desirable
