ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this position, you will:
Develop high quality software in an aligned and fast paced agile environment, Work with team members and partners to plan, execute, monitor and communicate status to achieve deliverables and team commitments and ensure that the overall solution meets or exceeds product specifications, Create and evaluate design input, ideas, and solutions to optimize performance, quality and cost Lead problem resolution activities including root cause, debug, create diagnostic tools and fix complex customer field issues with precision ag data and farm management software, Identify and lead organizational improvements in team processes, tools and technologies

Qualifications
We need an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, who thrives on solving problems and working in a global team environment. Ideally, you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline and/or equivalent work experience.  We also require:

3+ years of experience (unless otherwise noted) in:
·         Java/JavaScript and supporting web technologies or C#/.NET
·         HTTP and REST, Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns
·         Writing Unit Tests, Test Driven and Acceptance Test Driven Development (1 yr)
·         Agile Development (1 yr)
·         Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to work independently
·         Willingness to work 10% non-traditional hours in support of a global development team
·         Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 10%

A strong candidate will also have:

An advanced degree, such as an M.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
Precision Ag Farm Management Software Development experience
Familiarity with XML Family of Specifications
Experience with: jQuery, Java, Spring MVC, .NET/C#, SQL, XML, IDE tools (Visual Studio, IntelliJ, or Eclipse)
Experience with handling Big Data, Mongo DB
