Mandatory Skills

Effective communication, interpersonal, and
presentation skills.
The candidate will
provide Configuration Management support to complex systems and processes
within the customer’s organization for multiple projects. Duties will include
maintaining and enforcing the CM Plan(s), maintaining baselines (functional,
allocated, and product), participating in various project/engineering review
boards and working groups, facilitating the Change Advisory Boards and
Configuration Control Boards.
The candidate will
also be responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of the
processes, working methods and CM tools, to include but not limited to
documentation library, HW/SW inventory, change tracking, and source code
repository. Maintain change tracking and documentation controls to include, but
not limited to requirements identification, design definition, code
traceability, test results, and production verification results for baselined
production software. Coordinate changes for maintenance and incremental
releases, and manage through to production baseline. Keep appropriate databases
updated and perform CM audits. Provide continuous coordination of progress on
actions, tasking, and issues. Serve as the CM authority for managing code
libraries.
The candidate will
follow our ITIL service processes and Software Engineering Institute (SEI)
Capability Maturity Model – Integrated (CMMI) practices, such as participating
in peer reviews, reporting status of activities regularly, and supporting
quality assurance activities.
Desired Skills
Previous Configuration
Management experience.
CMMI v1.2 or higher
ITIL certification
Education
A Bachelor’s degree or higher. Education requirements may be met
with appropriate experience and demonstrated ability.
