Profile/Role
Description
The
ARCSight Engineer/Administrator is a position that is responsible to work
closely with the customer's security staff to configure the ARCSight product to
perform monitoring and alerting and developing enhancements to the existing
suite. Candidate will design and implement customized solutions to meet
specific customer goals using the ARCSight Suite.
Minimum
skills and qualifications:
The
ARCSight Engineer / Administrator will be required to perform hands-on
ArcSight developing & managing use cases and content (Dashboards, Active
Channels, Reports, Rules, Filters, Trends, Active Lists, etc) and demonstrated
ability to use problem solving techniques such as root cause analysis to
resolve issues.
•
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field
and 4 years experience; or Master’s degree and 2 years experience;
or 8 years related experience.
•
2+ years of infrastructure Information Assurance / Security support experience
•
Communication and teamwork skills
•
Active TS/SCI clearance
•
DODI 8570.1-M Compliance at IAT Level
II
*
Must obtain 8570 certification within 90 days of start date
•
Experience in using ArcSight Security Information and Event Management products,
to include ArcSight Connectors, Logger,
Event Security Manager (ESM), and/or Threat Response Manager (TRM).
•
Must be able to effectively communicate written and orally
Preferred
skills and qualifications:
•
Exposure to intelligence community or intelligence analysis experience
•
Experience or understanding of systems infrastructure
•
Experience with process development and deployment
•
Experience with firewalls, routers or antivirus appliances a plus.
•
Experience working in a security watch desk environment.
•
ArcSight Certified Security Analyst (ACSA); • ArcSight ESM Administrator
•
Strong background in UNIX, Solaris, Linux, or Windows servers
•
Scripting skills
