Job Description:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, support of new engineering solutions e.g. performance enhancements.
Performance tuning. (Application code)
Promotion of new code.
Trouble Shooting. (Application code, Perf tuning)
Physical Database Design
serves as advisor to senior management on database programs and long term systems strategies. (Optional but will be an added advantage)
Contributes to large, complex projects that are longer-term in nature or projects that have been identified as a critical priority for user community.
Establishes quality standards relative to all aspects of database management.
Consistently applies business knowledge in the design of database systems
Functional Technical Skills
- 5 to 8 years+ Oracle Database Skills.
- 3+ years of Oracle performance tuning
experience
- Must have very strong proven track record of
project delivery and leadership.
- Support -Build /upgrade databases.
- PL/SQL experience (must)
- 5 years+ experience managing large, business
critical databases in an Enterprise environment.
- Exposure to change control and problem
management procedures.
